Alaska Climate Science Center

The vision of the Alaska Climate Science Center is to improve the understanding of the potential future responses of Alaska's high latitude ecosystems and species to changing climate regimes in support of effective adaptive management, sustainable use, and sustainable communities.

The Alaska Climate Science Center (AK CSC) was the first of eight regional Climate Science Centers, is hosted by the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) and is located at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA). The Alaska CSC collaborates with numerous partners to provide scientific information, tools, methods, and techniques that managers and other parties interested in land, water, wildlife and cultural resources can use to anticipate, monitor, and adapt to climate change.
